flavorful

Stonehouse EEVO is the only olive oil I buy. It's light and has good flavor. Works well with sauteing and in salad dressings. I will continue to buy this oil.

Delicious

Absolutely delicious. The EVOO that I was using has a very strong peppery taste. Olio Santo is so smooth and buttery. I love it! I'm sold!

High Quality EVOO that is great tasting and versatile

I have been a devoted customer of Stonehouse Olive Oil for about 20 years. I first encounter them on a trip to SF, when I was at the Ferry Building and stopped by their shop. I sampled some of the oils and was very impressed with the quality and brought a couple of bottles home to CT. I typically will buy the 3L packs several time a year of the house blend and I do use them. The house blend has a smooth buttery quality that is great for many uses from dipping to cooking and everything in between. I recently decided to try the Olio Santo and purchased two of the 3L containers. The oil is very good and as versatile as the house blend. To me it has a bit more of a robust flavor with a slight peppery aftertaste but still delicious. It is considerably more expensive than the house blend but you can't deny the quality. I stopped buying supermarket oils years ago, even some that are marketed from CA. There is simply no comparison even with the European oils, which to me are to strong in flavor and often bitter due to the time it takes to transport their oils to the US and the extreme temperatures that they are exposed to in shipping. So, if you have the money buy the Olio Santo but you can't go wrong with the house blend either. BTW their flavored oils are equally delicious but you can make your own with a little bit of patience and effort.
